Remote Education

In accordance with statutory guidelines, the Department for Education (DfE) ask that schools provide information on remote education provision. It is aligned to the expectations for remote education, to which schools must have regard under the temporary continuity direction given by the Secretary of State for Education. This information is intended to provide clarity and transparency to pupils, parents and carers about what to expect from remote education if Covid-19 local restrictions require them to remain at home and/or if they need to self-isolate.

  • Home Learning for our Nursery and Reception classes will be via tasks set on the Tapestry app, please contact a member of the EYFS team if you require any assistance with accessing this.
  • Pupils in year 1 to 6 will access Home Learning via Microsoft Teams using their school email accounts. Pupils can access their Teams notebooks for details of tasks assigned to them and their calendar to access Live lessons, which would be delivered in the event of a National Lockdown. Information on how to access and use Teams can be downloaded below.
  • We aim to continue the delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum covering the core learning of Maths and English as well as activities for other curriculum areas.
